WORKSPACE GUIDE · 02
Find relevant platforms and add an opportunity to your plan
Use your website profile, platform requirements and publishing constraints to choose a suitable opportunity before starting a submission.
GET READY
Before you begin
Add a website and save its promotion materials, especially its description, categories and audience tags. Decide whether you can prepare a product listing, an article or a useful community contribution. Sign in to use the workspace.
Confirm the website you are promoting
Open Curated opportunities and check the Website shown above the list. Use Complete profile or Edit profile to correct the saved description, categories and tags. The matching explanation belongs to this website; review it again when switching websites.
Start with a relevant shortlist
Choose Recommended for you or Relevant, then read the matching reasons beside each destination. All shows the wider collection; Added helps you find opportunities already in your plan. Strong match and Good match are selection aids, while Profile needed means the website context needs more information. These labels do not predict acceptance.
Narrow the list to workable options
Search by platform name or domain. Use Cost, Reciprocal link, Review time and Minimum DR to narrow your options. Start with the constraints you actually have, such as a free submission option or no required reciprocal link. If nothing matches, relax one filter at a time. Pending means the information is not confirmed, rather than free, instant or unnecessary.
Read the destination before committing
Select a platform row to inspect its details. Read who it suits, What gets published and Required materials, then check effort, DR, reciprocal-link requirements and Verification. Review any verification date and note. A well-known domain or high DR does not replace audience fit, and a previous verification does not guarantee the current form is unchanged.
Add one suitable opportunity to your plan
Click Add to outreach plan and wait for Added to outreach plan. A successful addition makes the submission work record available; it does not submit anything to the destination. If you see Unavailable on current plan or a quota error, check your account allowance rather than retrying repeatedly. For an opportunity already added, use Start submitting or View tracking record to open its existing record.
Prepare the task using its specific instructions
Open View plan or Start submitting and confirm the correct website and destination. After adding, review the available Exact submission steps, field guidance and Troubleshooting. Open submission page leads to the destination’s own website. Check its current requirements, prepare the content, and record the real outcome in the task; adding an opportunity alone is not publication.
DECISION REFERENCE
What to compare before adding a platform
Use this reference alongside the recorded requirements and evidence for your destination. Check uncertain details before acting.
| Signal | What to read | How to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Audience and match | Read the matching reasons and who the platform suits. | Choose a destination where your product or contribution is relevant. |
| What gets published | Check whether the output is a listing, article or another format. | Prepare that format rather than pasting the same promotional text everywhere. |
| Cost | Distinguish Completely free, Paid optional, Payment required and Pending. | Confirm the chosen option on the destination before paying or submitting. |
| Reciprocal link | Check whether adding a link back is required, optional or not required. | Choose an option you can fulfil; Pending needs clarification. |
| Review time | Read the recorded review window and any publishing notes. | Plan follow-up around an estimate, without treating it as an acceptance promise. |
| DR and verification | Review the recorded metric, verification level, date and note. | Use these as context; neither guarantees traffic, publication or indexing. |
EXPECTED RESULT
Check your result
The chosen opportunity is marked Added for the correct website, and its task opens from Plan or Start submitting. You know what to prepare and which requirements remain uncertain. There is no published result yet: publication must be confirmed separately.
WHEN YOU NEED HELP
Common questions
Why are the recommendations not relevant?
Check the selected website and improve its saved categories, tags and description through Edit profile. Read the matching reasons and inspect the destination yourself; a recommendation is not a suitability guarantee.
Why is the filtered list empty?
Clear the search or relax Cost, Reciprocal link, Review time or Minimum DR one at a time. Information marked Pending may not satisfy a filter for a confirmed value. If loading fails, use Retry instead of changing filters.
Does high DR mean I should submit there first?
No. Audience, allowed content, cost and practical requirements still matter. A recorded DR value does not promise a backlink, traffic or search visibility.
Does adding an opportunity publish my website?
No. It creates or opens your publishing task. Follow the submission instructions and confirm the actual result before marking it published.
Why can I not add an opportunity?
The destination may be unavailable on your plan, or your curated submission allowance may be exhausted. Read the displayed error and check Pricing or billing. If the action succeeds but you cannot find the task, check the selected website and Added view.
What if I already added this platform?
Use its existing Start submitting or View tracking record action. Check the record before attempting the same submission again.
What if the platform instructions are outdated?
Follow the destination’s current form and policies. Use Incorrect information? Report it when the recorded guide needs correction. A reported issue is a request for review, not confirmation that the information has already been fixed.
Are all destinations automated?
No. Listing a destination or adding it to a plan does not mean automatic submission is available. Use the assistance offered for that specific task and complete the required manual work.
