Find relevant discussions and prepare a useful reply
Set up public discussion searches, review relevance and date evidence, edit a reply draft and record your participation.
GET READY
Before you begin
Add your website and accurate product facts first. Choose keywords describing the problems your audience faces. Replies should help the original conversation; read the community rules before participating.
Set your topics and communities
In Discussion opportunities, create a search for your website. Give it a recognisable name, add up to eight problem keywords and optional exclusion words, then select relevant communities. The 7, 30 or 90-day window applies to manual search. Language guides search and relevance explanations; reply language can be selected separately.
Search and inspect the evidence
Click Find discussions to run a manual scan. Manage search contains optional automatic discovery, which checks the past 24 hours every 12 hours. Review title, excerpt, relevance and publication evidence. Unknown dates are not proof that a thread is recent. Original-date checks are attempted for Reddit and Hacker News; blocked checks remain unverified.
Organise the opportunities
Use the status tabs for new, all, saved, participated or ignored opportunities. Filter by community, publication evidence or discovery batch. Search history records completed, partial, failed and empty runs. Repeated posts preserve their first discovery batch. Publication time and first-discovery time describe different events.
Prepare and review a reply draft
Open Reply draft. Choose English or Chinese and generate a draft, or write your own. Product mention is off by default; when enabled, a relevant mention should disclose your affiliation. The AI uses the stored title, excerpt and your website profile, not a full thread reading. Check every claim, edit the text and save or copy the final version.
Publish yourself and record participation
Open thread and read its full context. Follow its rules and publish the reply yourself. Return to Record participation to save the actual response URL and useful follow-up notes. Generating, saving and copying drafts never mark participation automatically. Saving an opportunity does not remove an existing participation record.
EXPECTED RESULT
Check your result
A useful opportunity has been evaluated using its available evidence. Your edited reply is saved, and after actual publication its response URL and follow-up notes are recorded.
WHEN YOU NEED HELP
Common questions
Does Submora publish my reply automatically?
No. You review the draft, open the original community and publish it yourself.
Why is a publication date unknown?
Search results often omit dates and original-source access may be blocked. Unknown dates are kept explicit rather than invented.
Why did one community fail while others returned results?
Sources can be unavailable or blocked independently. Search history keeps partial failures visible; a failure is not proof that no relevant discussions exist.
How do automatic notifications work?
Only new opportunities with a verified original date inside the automatic lookback window trigger in-app notifications. Existing duplicates do not create another notification.
What are the usage limits?
Each account currently allows five manual scans and four automatic scans per UTC day, up to two enabled automatic searches and 20 reply-generation attempts per UTC day. Failed generation attempts count.
Do drafts read the whole thread?
No. They use the stored title and excerpt plus website facts. Inspect the original conversation before using a draft.
